WorshipSUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP AT WESTDALE PARK FMC 10:00 – 11:15AM WE GATHER together to offer praise and worship to our Lord and to grow in our understanding of His ways through the study of His Word. WE OFFER a blended, worshipful style of music, soulful prayer, faith building contemplation on the Word of God and warm and loving fellowship. Part way through the service children are dismissed for a time of worship and study designed especially for them: Junior Church- ages 3-6 and Church Down Under-ages 7-10. Under the direction of skilled and caring volunteers the children come to know Jesus better through play, stories, song and crafts. 11:15-11:30AM Coffee Fellowship, a brief time to share and encourage one another, follows the service downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Refreshments and snacks are provided. 11:30AM – 12:15PM Sunday School for all ages, including adults, is available. A team of committed and knowledgeable volunteers lead age appropriate studies in small groups. All are welcome to attend. The main level of the church which includes the Sanctuary, Nursery, Washroom and Library are wheel chair accessible. EVENING SERVICES An evening service is held approximately once a month at Westdale Park FMC, usually on a Sunday. Either a Prayer Service lead by the Pastor, or a Praise and Prayer Gathering with special music and scripture reading is offered. Check the church calendar for the date of the next evening service. MID-WEEK BIBLE STUDY Held each Wednesday evening in the comfort of member’s homes, small groups meet to delve deeply into the study of the Word and share in prayer with one another. Various Bible study guides are used, depending on the needs of the groups. SENIORS MINISTRY (50+) A special time of fellowship is held every first Thursday of the month for seniors or soon-to-be seniors. Guest speakers, music, devotionals and refreshments make for a pleasant morning out |
